Kansas City Star: GM/Coach Bagger Hired By Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs announced today the hiring of Bagger to be the teams new head coach and general manager.

GM/Coach Bagger answered questions earlier today.

Reporter: Welcome to Kansas City, what type of team should we expect?
Bagger: First of all, Id like to say thank you to the Hunt family for having confidence in my vision for this football team. To answer your question, we will be a team that fights every play and will always give maximum effort.

Reporter: You pick 7th in the draft, any ideas on where you will leaning towards with that first round pick?
Bagger: We have a number of players we are looking at. We have a scheme both offensively and defensively we will be looking to establish here. We want players that both fit the scheme and are good team guys.

Reporter: Rumors are circulating you will be looking to the defensive side of the ball, specifically the defensive back postion with the 7th pick, any truth to that?
Bagger: As a team you always want to have a guy who you can rely on and leave out there on the other teams best guy. That may be an area we address early.
